While walking around in a Chapters (a large chain of big box book stores in Canada owned by Indigo) last month, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye that made me do a double take. Multicam on the shelves:
Perhaps the first time I've ever seen something Multicam on the shelf of a mainstream store, I immediately assumed it was a unlicensed ripoff. However I looked at the back of the book and lo and behold it was an officially Crye Multicam licensed product. Here's the stock image linked to the product page on Chapters:
Is this the sign of more officially licensed camouflage products to come? How long until we see other consumer products with immediately recognizable patterns to those in the know? I'm excited to see where this can go.
