Flasc Tiberius T9.1 Rip Clip Adaptor
Why is that so cool? Well with a 13 ci tank, an A5 hopper and a short barrel, you can have one of the most compact set-ups available, while still having lots of firepower. Or even on a 12 gram CO2 cartridge, you could get through most of a short Tac Cap. Leave it to Flasc to come out with inventive solutions and products that others haven't thought of. You can check out their website here.

BT TM-15 LE
BT's got a new iteration of one of their most popular markers out with a new compact look, cool colour scheme and an included Apex 2. Not bad, but not something exactly new either. The fact that they still include "Semi/PSP/Millennium" modes still boggles my mind though. Here's the ad copy and then some more pictures:
Product Information:
Empire Battle Tested introduces a new, shorter carbine version of the TM-15 marker for more maneuverability and CQB. We’ve upgraded the barrel to the APEX2 to give you more distance and the ability to curve your shots…on purpose! Add in the front foregrip and a cool color scheme and you’ve got the best milsim marker on the playing field. Better move now and get them fast, these are only available for a limited time.

Grey Ops Will Not be Shooting the Empire Axe This Season!
Grey Ops is super duper excited to let absolutely everyone know that Grey Ops will not be shooting the Empire Axe this season! The Empire Axe is totally not our style and we're proud to not be in partnership with Empire Paintball with this endeavor that will not be undertaken!
I thought that it would be appropriate to announce this, as just about every non-milsim paintball team in North America just can't hold in the fact that they'll be shooting the spiritual successor to the Mini, thereby cluttering up my RSS feed with the umpteen different paintball news sources and blogs that are reporting on it, and are apparently equally excited. You see the kind of run on sentences you people have drive me to? You make me sick.

MIKE'S RANT OF THE MONTH: TM Series at No. 1?

This month's rant is less of a rant, and more of a BEEF. Long a bastion of Hip Hop and WWE wrestling, I'm bringing the beef to the world of Paintball - although this beef isn't really directed at any one person, but at a blog post.
Regular Grey Ops readers got to follow a recent series on the Top Ten Milsim Markers, a collaborative effort between Grey Ops and Hitman Paintball Reviews. Somehow, Empire/BT Paintball's TM Series markers snatched the #1 spot. This came as a surprise to many, who felt the Tippmann A-5 should've come out as the top dog, given its longevity and influence in Milsim Paintball.
I wasn't sure how Connor and Stan came to a consensus with the TM Series in the lead, so I went to ask Connor himself. He explained that they sent all their data on the markers to the team at Deadliest Warrior, had the resident computer geek throw it all in the computer, and ran 500 simulations on a program that had battle-hardened Spetznatz, IDF Commandos, and US Navy SEALs shooting it out with the guns in a three-way team deathmatch. Each time near the end of the battle, some lone guy in fugly Battle Tested Pro Pants would jump in the fight with a TM-15, and hose everybody who was still standing with 20bps. Nobody could figure out how this was happening, until someone realized that there was an error in the data. Apparently the info on the MILSIG K-Series wasn't available when the simulation was run (even though the MILSIG web store said it was), and it skewed the results. Unfortunately, by the time the bug was discovered and worked out, the TM Series had already been posted as the #1 marker.

TM Series Rip Clip Available...For Now!

Back in July I posted about a TM Series Rip Clip shortage from BT, and how it would be a while before the supply caught up with demand. Well, now we’re seeing some trickle in here and there in limited numbers, indicating that the wait is almost over.

FLASC Magic: "Milsimming" the BT TM7

The Hechler & Koch MP7 is a relatively new weapon on the scene, that's quickly making a name for itself in the world of Personal Defence Weapons (PDWs) for military and police.
With its compact form factor, light weight, and tacticool appearance, the MP7 is a favourite of special ops troops and Cobra operatives alike.

In 2008, BT Paintball brought to the scene their paintball "replica" of this weapon, dubbed the TM7. It also bears the compact form factor, light weight, and MOST of the tacticool appearance of its genuine counterpart, which has made it a hit with many Milsim paintball players.

I'm one of those players, and I faithfully use my TM7 as my primary marker. But one thing that never sat right with me was that extra length of barrel sticking out from the front of the shroud. BT included a 9-inch barrel with the marker, which is generally a length that offers a good balance of air efficiency, shot consistency, and accuracy. But instead of recessing the barrel further back into the marker to keep that MP7 look, it was designed to stick out, giving it a grease-gun front end look reminiscent of the M3 submachinegun.
So with FLASC offering a wide range of barrel lengths and tips at their store, I set out to find a combo that would bless my TM7 with that MP7 barrel look.

TM-series Rip Clip shortage

"GET SOME" may be the slogan for the recently-released TM-series Rip Clip, but if you're looking to get one, you may have to wait a little longer. The coveted sound-activated loader is sold out pretty much everywhere you look. A couple of dealers I've spoken to have said that even BT/Kee doesn't have any at the moment, and none are expected to be available before late August.
When the TM-15 marker was released in mid-2009, BT included a Rip Clip adapter in the package, dangling a carrot in the face of owners. After the product was finally released about 2 months ago, it now turns out BT has serious supply issues with it. So if you're looking to add a Rip Clip to your TM-series Milsim marker, be prepared for a bit of a wait!
