SURPAT Introduction - Camouflage Week

Update (June 10th 2011) - SURPAT now available on Crypsis.ca: click me!

Back in mid March, I mentioned that I was going to try and get my hands on some SURPAT, and try it out up here in the Great White North. Well I've done just that, and while I've only had it a short time and haven't tried it out to a great extent, I do have some photos from the woods/marshland at the end of my street.

Survival Corps has confirmed with me that this is the only SURPAT thus far in Canada, and to my knowledge, I'm the only third party on the internet to have media of SURPAT up.

I'll try and get some comparison shots up between this and other popular patterns over the next week, and if anyone has any requests (such as seeing SURPAT in a specific environment) leave a comment here or email me.

  1. That looks wicked! The backgrounds you used for the photos are pretty representative of a typical paintball field in summertime (mainly cleared, with a good amount of green, dead vegetation on the ground, etc). It looks like it blends in really well. From the base colours, and the pictures on the Survival Corps site, it looks a lot like a digital version of multicam, with more of a tendency towards green.

  2. I had the same thoughts about the "digital multicam", and I'm going to try and so some side by side shots with some Crye BDUs.
